Varli Tribe ( Warli Tribe - Maharashtra - This Varli ( warli ) tribal musician is almost half naked playing a wind musical instrument called Tarpa. This instrument is on the way of extinction but usually seen with the Warli’s. It is similar to the Saxophone. These Warli people perform Trapa dance after the harvest; here this instrument they plays as a part of music feast as well as tradition. Tarpa dance is an ode to the harvest. A green pasture and in the background dates trees itself symbolizes it is harvest season for Warli tribe.
