Kokana Tribe - Maharashtra - Kokana tribe are a progressive tribe in Maharashtra . They are educated and economically , socially and politically better off as compared to the other tribes in their geographical vicinity .Koknas are known for making masks , bamboo , wooden craft , brass & copper motifs . The famous festival of mask called the Bohadais a combination of drama & dance is performed in March - April . Tipri dance is performed by young boys and girls during Holi and wedding seasons .
